The Virginia Horticultural Foundation (TVHF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides annual educator travel grants to exceptional educators in a horticultural field.
The annual Mid-Atlantic Horticulture Short Course (MAHSC), a professional, educational event with nationally-recognized speakers and over 150 classes and workshops, is produced by TVHF. This year’s event will be held at the Marriott at City Center, Newport News, Virginia. All scholarship and grant recipients are recognized at the opening sessions of the MAHSC.

Application Requirements
- Educator teaching horticulture-related courses at a school in Virginia (full-time or part-time)
- Previous recipients of a TVHF Educator Travel Grant are not eligible
- Recipient must allow TVHF to publicize the student’s name, degree pursued and college attendance information
Educator Travel Grants include a three-day registration to attend the following year’s MAHSC. Travel reimbursements will be made for recipients living more than 50 miles from the MAHSC. Travel grant recipients are recognized at the opening session of MAHSC.
