Horticultural Shutterbugs Unite!
The Virginia Horticultural Foundation is having a photo contest on our Facebook page, and you could win $50 off your registration to our 2016 Mid-Atlantic Horticulture Short Course or Home Gardener Day.
The rules are simple:
We have a theme for each of the next 4 months which gives you 4 opportunities to win.
The themes are:
September = “What I saw (Horticulturally) on My Summer Vacation”.
October = “The Scary World of Horticulture”.
November = “Fall Color in the Garden”
December= “The Winter Landscape”
Submit your monthly entries by the last day of that month
You must be the photographer for any photo you submit, it can be an old image or newly snapped & we want you to tell us something about it (e.g. where it was taken, why it appeals to you, plants included)
All submitting photographers must “like” us on Facebook, and we hope that you will also share your entry on your own page.
All submitted photos will be used on the MAHSC Facebook page, and on the MAHSC web site.
At the end of each month, the entry that best suits the month’s horticulture theme, as determined by our judges, will receive $50 off 2016 MAHSC registration fee. There will be no prize substitutions, and they have no cash value. Any winner will not be eligible to win again, though they are welcome to submit another photo for exhibit only.
Get snapping & submitting & show us what you’ve got!
