Pesticide
Recertification
MAHSC has applied for
recertification credits from Virginia (categories 90, 91, 3a, 3b, 5a, 6,
10, 60) and the following states: DC, DE, KY, MD, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN and
WV. To be recertified, you must attend all sessions from 7:45 am to 3:00
pm, pay the MAHSC registration fee and complete any required proof of
attendance paperwork which will be submitted by MAHSC for you.

Plant Growth Regulator Primer: Application Techniques

Plant growth regulators
(PGRs) improve plant form and manage plant growth and size. However,
achieving these goals depends on effective PGR selection and appropriate
application. Joyce discusses the basics of the common PGRs with an
emphasis on the new application methods that have been tested and
labeled to reduce pesticide contact and reduce REI issues.

business. Additionally, learn about the new and devastating pathogen of
many woody plants that may soon be added to the USDA Select Agent list
under the 2002 Agricultural Bioterrorism Protection Act.
